The Vital Congregation Profile measures congregational factors
related to becoming a growing, outreach-focused congregation of disciples. The
Profile is used both as a way to assess progress and as a diagnostic tool to
identify strengths and needs of the congregation. To get an accurate description of a congregation, many people are asked to complete a Profile survey: pastors, paid program staff, lay leaders, and a randomly selected group of active member/participants. Their answers are combined to produce a Profile report which is available to both the congregation and to the coach who is working with participant(s) from the congregation. |
