Our Mission: Releasing and multiplying leaders for mission-focused ministry through coaching relationships.

The Vital Evangelical Leadership Collaboration (VELC) is passionately committed to supporting God's people on their journeys as disciples of Jesus Christ and witnesses to the world. VELC believes that individual discipleship is best nurtured through the experience of life and relationships within a community of faith. Consequently, VELC trains and guides pastors, congregational leadership teams, and lay congregants toward transforming their churches into growing, evangelism-focused congregations of disciples.

The three learning tracks of VELC,

Vital Pastoral Leadership for pastors,
Vital Congregations Network (the ELCA expression of the Church Coach Network) for core congregational leadership teams, and
Vital Lay Witness for lay members of congregations,

each renews the passion for discipleship among its participants, trains them for leadership, and coaches them as they participate in the transformation of their congregations.
